Psalm to my Shepherd

The Good Shepherd is my Savior
My Lord and Creator
I know his voice
I follow
I stumble
He picks me up
He puts me to sleep on green pastures
He leads me into living waters
He sanctifies my soul

He is my gate
I’m a sheep in his fold
Our One Shepherd
His one flock

Though the path be dark with extreme weather
I do not fear the evil on the side of the road
His gentle heart surrounds me with comfort
His bread and fruit of the vine sustain me

He gives His life for His sheep
He gives new life to his people
That we may dwell in His holy dwelling
All the days of our lives.

The One Shepherd
And His one herd.

Who is Jesus

Who is Jesus?
What did He do?
What does it mean that He gave it all for you?
For us, on the cross
He gave it all for us.
He gave His life to pay
The punishment of our lust
Our lust for power and self-determination,
With no regard for the Creator of creation.
We were blind; Jesus gave us illumination,
As He revealed God’s plan for redemption.
Because He loves us—He always has.
He’s perfectly loving but also perfectly just.
No justice, no peace.
Jesus’ death fulfilled God’s justice;
Jesus’ life gives us God’s peace.
And the veil at the temple?
Torn in half.
Jesus broke the barrier between God and us.
We can be in His presence
’Cause the Spirit is now in us
All because Jesus gave
An eternal sacrifice.

Jesus is our Savior.
He literally saved us from the wrath of God.
It was Him or us
He chose Himself.
Thank God.

Who is Jesus?
What will He do?
What did He promise He would do in the future?
He will come back for us
To make His home with us:
A new heaven,
A new earth,
A new city
All a must.
Evil will be dust.
Temptation and sin

Just a thing from the past.
In our new bodies,
Our new temples of God,
We will have eternal life.
Yes, Jesus promised that.
He promised even more
To those who love the Lord
Those who keep the faith
And don’t rely on the sword.
We will inherit the Earth
We will inherit the world
And live with the Lord.

So who is Jesus?
Well, He’s the Word.
In Him is the Name of the Lord.
The Name is the presence
Of Mighty God.
Jesus was also known
As the Angel of God
In the Exodus.
He led the people to freedom
He shined a light in the desert
To make with them a new Kingdom
To make of them a new nation
To bring a light to the nations
And tell the story that resulted in His Resurrection.
He’s the Second Power.
He’s our Eternal Lover.
He’s seated at the right hand.
He’s fully God, fully man.
Jesus Christ, Word of God
Yeshua HaMashiach.
So praise with me:
Hallelujah.

Every Knee Will Bow

When I was younger
I didn’t feel this kind of hunger of the Lord
Now I’m fed daily
By prayer and the Word
I can’t get enough
I love His so much
And even though I love him
I know he loves me more

He pours out his spirit
When I’m feeling kinda weary
When the darkness gets scary
I will always have his light
In the middle of the night
When I can’t see he is my sight
When I fall I need rescue
He’s my best friend by my side

His love is eternal
His care is paternal
We’re saved from inferno
Cause he paid the price
He died on the cross
He did it for us
He rose from the dead
Because he is the christ

Every knee will bow
Everyone will shout
All across the world
They will say it loud
Coming with the clouds
It’s the one they pierced
Coming to restore
And wipe away our tears

Let go of all your fears
It’s the time to rejoice
If you have accepted Jesus
Then you made the right choice
Find the time to pray
Time to meditate
Time to read the Bible
Time to hear his voice

With all this worldly noise
It’s kinda hard hearing God
So find a place of silence
And put away all that
We are in this world
But we’re not of it
We live in this world
But we’re not meant to love it

We belong to a Kingdom that’s here but not yet
We work for a King with a different mindset
We give up our lives for a heavenly set
We owe to Jesus ‘cause he paid the debt

Every knee will bow

Everyone will shout

All across the world
They will say it loud
Coming with the clouds
It’s the one they pierced
Coming to restore
And wipe away our tears

His love is eternal
His care is paternal
We’re saved from inferno
Cause he paid the price
He died on the cross
He did it for us
He rose from the dead
Because he is the christ

Blinded by the Light

I awoke painfully from a piercing light
Radiating fiercely from a bright sunrise
As the sun rose gently in the dawning sky
It was so bright and fierce that it burned my eyes

I stumbled up and went to see the glow
And out the window, I heard the cry of crows
They sang in perfect union as if putting on a show
They stood on telephone wire, and they stood all in a row

“What is the impending danger? I asked. “What is it that you know?”
They said nothing, stared back at me, and then they cried once more.

Then the sky saw a lightning flash and heard a thunder roar
The crows were shaken, frightened to their core
Their fearful flight made the wire rattle, emitting a deafening sound.
I covered my ears, grinded my teeth, and fell to the ground.

The sky was darkened with clouds and rain
The crows flew fast, in fury and in pain
My eyes were sore and my ears were still ringing
An angel appeared, and it seemed to be lightly singing.

I couldn’t hear it, but I could speak
So I asked, “What do you want, what is it that you seek?”

With a snap of its fingers, the angel made the ringing stop
With another snap, suddenly there we were, standing on the rooftop
The clouds were gone and the rain had ceased
In the distance were the crows, flying to the east

Afraid of being burned again, I looked down to the ground
“Have no fear,” said the angel. “There is treasure to be found.”
“Look at the horizon,” ordered the angel. “Stare into its might.” 

 My eyes were not burned this time, but I was blinded by the Light.

Still the Savior

To live by the Spirit is God’s will
He wants to guide us to a new
Reality of grace and love
that never ends, never fails
‘Cause it is given by grace, see?
He’s alway there at the end
As he waits for the people to come to repent
And finally accept the truth
Jesus paid for you
What you couldn’t do
He already did for you

So just chill in his grace
Eat the holy meal
Break the body
Drink the blood
And remember that he loved you all the way to the cross
Remember that he gave his life out of love
Remember he’ll be there when you need him the most
Remember your body is a temple for the holy ghost
Your body is a living sacrifice
Thank you, Jesus, for giving us life

Jesus is the Lord
Jesus is the Most
High Priest
Savior of the world

Jesus is the Lord
Jesus is the Word
Made flesh
Light of the World

He’s the one we need
He’s the one we eat
We gather ‘round the table 

And it’s him on whom we feed
He’s our life source
Easy gentle force
The good shepherd guiding us on the right course
He’s never unfaithful
Even when we’re ungrateful
He’s monumental
His love is fundamental
He washed away our sins
Now our bodies are a temple

So come to him
all who are weary
Put it into practice
it’s not a theory
And remember that he saved us from God’s fury
He saved us from the wrath
Of a perfectly just God
How about that?

He’s our sacrificial superhero
Savior of the world
Coming back to put an end to the holy war
He’s the holy lord
Light of the world
High priest forever
The prophet of old

He’s our friend
Love is evident
He’s heaven-sent
Hallelujah!

He’s our friend

Jesus Christ!

Still the savior
Still the king
He’s the one that came to free us from our sin
Heaven represent on earth
Jesus died for the world
He died for us all
He died for our souls
The resurrection defeated death with life
On the third he revealed the saving light
We were once blind
But now we have sight
We were once dead
But now we’re alive
‘Cause he died for us
Sacrificed his life
Took our sin upon him
And left it all on the cross
Now our lives belong to him
That is the cost
Surrender our lives to him
This is a must

He's the one who came down for us
He's the one that will never abandon us.
He's the God we worship every day
He's the Christ leading us in God's way.

‘Cause he's the King
Without a ring
He's not vain like us
He don’t care about the bling bling
He wants to give us grace
I’m a grace fiend
I’ve been redeemed ‘cause he intervened on the scene

Know what I mean?

He is
He causes to exist
He brings into existence whatever exists

Jesus is my Shepherd
I shall not want!
And there will be one flock
And one Shepherd
The Way, The Truth, and The Life
Those who come to Him will never thirst
And those who believe will never hunger
